SESRIC will organise a Study Visit on “Developing a Successful Employment and Skills Policies and Strategies” on 18-20 September 2019 in Ankara, Republic of Turkey for the researchers of the Centre of Manpower Research and Development of the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia.
The main objectives of the Study Visit are to improve the knowledge, the analytical techniques and skills of researchers regarding empowerment policies in OIC Member States.
The Study Visit will cover the following subtopics:
- Labour market analysis in OIC countries
- Statistical approaches in predicting the labour market
- Skills development, re-skilling and up-skilling in the VET system
The three-day programme will also include visits to various Turkish institutions to learn from Turkish experience.
The experience and lessons learned during the visit will help Indonesian researchers have a wider understanding of the labour market in the OIC Member States.
