SESRIC will participate in the 62nd International Statistical Institute World Statistics Congress (ISI WSC) 2019, which will be organized by the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM), Bank Negara Malaysia BNM) and Malaysia Institute of Statistics (ISM) on 18-23 August 2019 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The biennial World Statistics Congress (WSC) is the flagship conference of the ISI and its seven members associations. The 62nd edition will bring together around 2,500 delegates from all over the world, including statistical researchers, academia, industry practitioners, analysts and policymakers, to share insights on development in statistical science and to advance the application of statistics for discovery, innovation and decision making.
During the 5-day conference, about 1,300 papers, in various statistical disciplines and applications, will be presented and discussed. In addition to the Scientific Programme, various seminars, meetings and short courses will take place as pre-congress events.
