Journée mondiale de l'environnement (MER) is an annual event that is aimed at being the biggest and most widely celebrated global day for positive environmental action. Les activités de WED ont lieu toute l'année et point culminant sur 5 Juin de chaque année, impliquant tout le monde de partout.

La célébration du WED a commencé en 1972 and has grown to become one of the main vehicles through which the United Nations stimulates worldwide awareness of the environment and encourages political attention and action.

Grâce à WED, the United Nations Environment Programme is able to personalize environmental issues and enable everyone to realize not only their responsibility, but also their power to become agents for change in support of sustainable and equitable development.

WED is also a day for people from all walks of life to come together to ensure a cleaner, greener and brighter outlook for themselves and future generations.

The aim of the International Day for Monuments and Sites is to encourage local communities and individuals throughout the world to consider the importance of cultural heritage to their lives, identities and communities, and to promote awareness of its diversity and vulnerability and the efforts required to protect and conserve it.

The Research Centre MOHA in cooperation with the Greek Delegation of Unesco inaugurates on Saturday April 16, 2016 à 20:00 the photo exhibition “MONUMENTS GRECS DE L'UNESCO” in the house of Mohamed Ali Pasha Kavala, Grèce.

This symposium is predicated on the premise of shared cultural continuities around the Mediterranean between Islamdom, Christendom (Western Europe) and Byzantium.

It argues that these three politico-cultural zones have shared, appropriated and developed the late Antiquity heritage that they inherited, each within its own religious and cultural framework.

Starting from this broad historical spectrum, the symposium will posit the emergence of Islam in the seventh century not as a disruption of the classical culture in its late manifestations, but rather as a purposeful continuation of that culture.

Within this event, the Mohammed Ali Research Center hopes to gather scholars working on the theme of continuity between late Antiquity and the rise of Islam in a variety of fields that can fall under the two headings of material and epistemological domains.

The ultimate aim is to reinforce the thesis of shared continuities around the Mediterranean and to further challenge the traditional intellectual and pedagogical approaches that have long emphasized cultural separation and insularity between Islamdom and Christendom.

Two keynote speakers will address the two domains of investigation and explore the analytical and methodological contours of the general theme of the symposium:

• Nasser Rabbat, Aga Khan professor at MIT, will explore instances of continuity and adaptation from the late antique to the early Islamic (or Umayyad) Architecture, with a special emphasis on Syria.
   
• Prof. Garth Fowden, Sultan Qaboos Professor of Abrahamic Faiths at University of Cambridge, will discuss the transition from the late antique to early Islamic thought worlds, represented respectively by Alexandria and Baghdad.

L'événement

Sommet mondial et exposition des femmes musulmanes | SAGE 2018 (avec le thème de "Une femme – Un seul monde | La politique pour renforcer le pouvoir et la justice ») a eu lieu à Istanbul pendant 1– 2 Mars 2018. Avec ce, deux événements importants ont eu lieu au même endroit:  La 8e Rencontre du Forum Islamique Mondial et de la Cérémonie du Tiers Monde Islamique Prix ​​d'Istanbul.

Ces conférences étaient sous les auspices de l'organisation Think Tank, TASAM, dinde.
